University of Colorado Foundation Wins Two CASE Circle of Excellence Bronze Medals

BOULDER, Colo. (June 21, 2007) – The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) recently named the University of Colorado Foundation the winner of two bronze medals in their Circle of Excellence national competition. The foundation’s research and advancement services staff received two of the nine awards presented.

Research Services was awarded for their creation of an automated donor biography which automatically compiles donor information previously gathered by a member of the research staff.

Advancement Services received their award for their Electronic Desktop Deposit. Creation of an electronic deposit system improved donor satisfaction, sped up the deposit and communications process, and avoided potential issues with the postal system.

The CASE Circle of Excellence awards are an annual event designed to recognize innovative programs and projects in the field of institutional advancement. The competition is open to all CASE members nationally. This year, the winners were selected from a pool of 22 entries.
