University of Colorado Foundation Names Michel Dahlin Assistant Vice President for Foundation and Corporate Relations
BOULDER, Colo. (July 11, 2007) – Michel Dahlin, PhD, has been named assistant vice
president for foundation and corporate relations of the University of Colorado
Foundation. In this role, Dahlin will direct foundation and corporate relations
development efforts, focusing primarily on national foundation support.
Dahlin most recently held the position of associate vice president for academic affairs for
the University of Colorado system. She came to the University of Colorado in 1983 as a
faculty member in Colorado Springs History Department. Since then, she has held a
variety of positions including tenured faculty member, department chair, interim vice
chancellor for academic affairs, assistant and associate vice president for academic
affairs, and interim vice president for academic affairs and research. She received her
B.A. from Wellesley College and her M.A. and PhD in history from Stanford University.
