CORA Requests
The University of Colorado Foundation has adopted policies covering commitment to openness and to the privacy of donors and employees. The information provided below is part of ongoing efforts to disclose and make public certain documents and records associated with its financial support of the University of Colorado.
The Foundation will post all requests for information received by the Foundation under the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA), as well as the Foundation's reponse. Most requests come from media representatives but occasionally from other individuals as well.
While not only complying with the law as amended this year by the passage of HB 1041, the Foundation embraces the 'spirit' of the law. The Foundation believes it is appropriate and an exemplary practice to publicly disclose who is asking us for what information, as well as disclose the response.
