Brian Winkelbauer
Brian Winkelbauer has an established history with CU and the CU Foundation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from CU-Boulder and worked for the CU Foundation as a student employee. For 11 years, he served in several positions for CU-Boulder’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, including his initial role as the Business Manager for Athletics Development. His final position was Assistant Athletic Director for Student Services, where he served on the senior leadership team and worked closely with many facets of the university, foundation and community constituents.
Brian began his professional career in Colorado Springs as the instrumental music teacher and department chair at Wasson High School. Prior to being named as the Vice President for Development at the Colorado Springs Campus, he served as senior director of development for the foundation, overseeing fundraising for CU-Boulder’s campus programs.
