Cheryl Kisling began her development career in Nashville, Tennessee nearly 24 years ago. She initially joined the University of Colorado Foundation at the Health Sciences Center campus in 1986 and stayed until 1995. The majority of that time she served as the Director of Development for the CU Cancer Center. In 1995 she joined the University of Northern Colorado as Vice President of Development and in 1999 became President of the UNC Foundation. Cheryl returned to the CU Foundation in 2004, served as the Interim Vice President for the Denver and Health Sciences Center campuses in 2006, and accepted that position in 2007.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and a Master’s in Communications from the University of Northern Colorado.
