Dan Palmquist, Vice President and Controller

Dan Palmquist joined the CU Foundation in 2002 as Vice President and Controller – assuming the responsibilities for financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, audit coordination, tax reporting, accounts payable and payroll. He formerly spent five years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen, then 13 years as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Longmont United Hospital.

Dan graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in biology, and obtained a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Denver. He is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
