Chairman and Presidents Message Our Responsibility to You: Commitment to Openness and Privacy Financial Statements and Notes
|
The University of Colorado at Boulder is literally reaching for the stars, thanks to a generous gift from CU alumni and long-time supporters David F. and Margaret T. Grohne. This donation will double CU’s share of the 3.5-meter Apache Point Telescope, which is located in New Mexico and operated by a consortium of universities consisting of CU, Princeton, Chicago, Washington, Johns Hopkins and New Mexico State. Additional access to this major telescope will enable the CU faculty to enhance the educational and discovery experiences of thousands of students and advance the Astronomy & Astrophysics degree program into the nation’s top ten. This year the Grohnes have also contributed to the Grohne Engineering Scholarship Fund, their Education Scholarship Fund and the Cancer Center building fund.
