Thank you to all the alumni, friends, foundations and corporations who have been generous with gifts to the University of Colorado Foundation benefiting the University of Colorado.
Your support helps to create an environment in which teaching, learning and research positively impact the quality of life and education in Colorado and beyond. Together we can invest in a future that enables the University of Colorado to sustain its world-class rankings and goals.
This investment booklet describes your gifts and how they are invested. Its purpose is to provide a current investment overview for Trustees, Directors, donors, prospects and interested parties, including our partners at the University of Colorado.
For those considering a gift, we appreciate your interest. We hope this brochure will broaden your understanding of investment activities at the University of Colorado Foundation and increase your interest in providing financial support to Colorado's flagship educational institution - the University of Colorado.
The Investment Activities are divided into two parts:
- Part 1 - Donor Designations - which describes donor gift designation, including Endowments, Callable Funds and Trusts.
- Part 2 - Investment Vehicles - which describes the investment vehicle holding the monies, including the Long Term Investment Pool, Short Term Investment Pool and mutual funds for Life Income Arrangements.
Thank you to all who provided thoughts and suggestions on this overview. We encourage your feedback and input so that we can continue to make this a useful and current resource.
