Enabling an Indoor CU-Boulder Athletic Facility with a “Vote of Confidence” from Tom and Cydney Marsico
In December 2005, CU alumnus Tom Marsico and his wife, Cydney, gave CU President Hank Brown a $1.5 million vote of confidence that will be used to build a multi-use indoor athletic facility on the Boulder campus.
When constructed, the facility will accommodate athletics practices, intramural sports, campus-wide activities, and special events—benefiting students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community for years to come.
“Our gift served as a vote of confidence in Hank Brown’s leadership at CU,” said Marsico. “We hoped it would allow the university to respond to special opportunities to benefit the students who attend CU, and it was our pleasure to learn that the gift will be directed to a multi-use indoor athletic facility on the Boulder campus.”
