Business Intelligence Analyst, Finance & Accounting
The Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) at the University of Colorado Foundation (CUF) provides project planning, business requirements & analysis, testing, information quality assurance, research/evaluation, documentation of policies/standards/procedures, and training to CUF staff and stakeholders in the university. The BIA analyzes, designs, develops, and tests reports for business operations/applications using client/server databases. Manages data gathering, queries, and report writing for various projects and provides documentation and data analysis on request. Recommends information technology solutions to meet business needs and coordinates the planning, development, and implementation of these solutions.
Investment Accountant, Finance & Accounting
Assists the CFO and Controller in managing and accounting for investments, endowments, gifts, and other accounting department priorities, including but not limited to:
- Assisting with month end close, annual audit, preparation of financial statements, and management reporting;
- Preparation of reconciliations and other financial schedules;
- Assisting with system upgrades and/or new implementations;
- Assisting with development of policies, procedures, and training.
Develops, interprets, and implements moderate to complex financial accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning, reporting, and control.
Supervises and/or performs operational functions required to set up, maintain and track transactions for investments and gift funds ensuring data integrity and compliance with policies, agreements and regulations.
