The Assistant Vice President, Development (AVP) participates with executive leadership in the formulation of the CU Cancer Center Fund’s strategic fundraising plan and provides direction and leadership to both Development and Marketing professionals in support of fundraising goals and activities. Manages fundraising activities for major gift prospects, including outsourced annual giving, to achieve short-term and long-term goals. The AVP guides the Cancer Center forward in the development and implementation of internal and external goals that reflect the organization's mission, vision, values and business plan. The AVP provides overall leadership for strategy, organizational development, implementation, budget oversight, fundraising and program support within the Cancer Center.
