$2.5 million pledge extends Kiewit Design-Build Scholars Program through 2032
A renewed commitment from Kiewit Corporation will empower CU Boulder engineering students to lead in the infrastructure and construction industries for years to come. The pledge ensures students will gain the hands-on experiences needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving workforce.

CU Denver launches Shark Tank–style challenge to reshape downtown
The Blair Gifford Mile High Sustainability Impact Challenge moves climate and urban solutions from the classroom into the real world. Backed by a gift from Professor Emeritus Dr. Blair Gifford, the new competition invites CU Denver students and community partners to design projects to improve downtown Denver over the next five years.

CU School of Medicine’s class of 1967 raises historic gift
Over 18 years, the class of 1967 raised $1.2 million to endow a scholarship funding full in-state tuition for one student each year. Nearly 40% of the class contributed—an extraordinary participation rate almost six decades after graduation. The scholarship has already helped students pursue medical careers without financial burden.

Scholarships created access, support and belonging for UCCS sophomore
Watching his older brother attend UCCS inspired Kayu Lee to pursue a college education—but affording it felt out of reach. Scholarship support turned that aspiration into reality. Kayu is now a double major in accounting and finance, with an expected graduation in May 2028.
